Course Overview

Duration:1 academic year (12 months), utilizing a highly clinical, competency-based framework where practical residency/lab work typically accounts for 90% of the training.

Objective: Equip nurses with specialized skills to assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients suffering from bone fractures, spinal injuries, joint replacements, chronic degenerative diseases, and musculoskeletal tumors.
Governing Body: Approved and standardized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and recognized as an additional qualification by respective State Nursing Registration Councils (SNRC).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:Passed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC-recognized institution.

Professional Registration: Must hold active registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN/RM) with a State Nursing Council.
Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a staff nurse, ideally completed post-qualification.
Fitness: Must be certified as medically and physically fit.
