                             D.El.Ed. Course Eligibility Criteria

Criteria Details
Educational Qualification Passed 10+2 from CBSE or any recognized Board/University.
Minimum Marks Required 50% in aggregate (best 5 subjects including 1 language).
Relaxation in Marks As per SCERT -Delhi Guidelines.
Other Boards Best 5 subjects (4 + 1 language) as per board rules will be considered.
10th Grade Percentage Calculation CBSE: CGPA × 9.5; Others: as per board’s formula with at least 1 language included.
Language-Specific Requirement Urdu (DIET Darya Ganj) / Punjabi (DIET Karkardooma): Must have studied Urdu/Punjabi in both 10th & 12th.
Language Marks Inclusion Urdu/Punjabi marks must be included in percentage calculation (for language candidates).
Result Pending Eligible to apply and take the Computer Based Test.
Physical Fitness Must be mentally & physically fit. Medical certificate from MBBS doctor required.
Age Limit Max 24 years as on 30th September 2025.
Age Relaxation As per SCERT -Delhi Guidelines.
Reservation - Delhi Quota 85% seats for candidates passed 12th from NCT of Delhi.
Reservation - Outside Delhi 15% seats for candidates passed 12th from outside NCT.
Domicile Certificate Not required.
Category Declaration Must choose either Delhi or Outside Delhi; no automatic category switch.

1. Online Application Form opening

2. Editing of form opening (till prescribed dates)

3. Acceptance of filling of Choices /preferences of DIETs/Institutes

1. Apply online only .

2. Pay Rs.500/- (UR) or Rs.250/- (Reserved) – non-refundable.

3.Take printout of Application Form

STAGE-3 1. Allocation List (1st to 3rd Round)

1. Take printout of Provisional Allotment Letter.

2. Print Receipt of Part Admission Fee Rs.1800/- (non-refundable)

3. Print Provisional Admission Offer Letter

4. Report at allotted DIET/Institute with original documents & 2 xerox sets

5.Submit verified photocopy documents with verification letter.

6. Opt for Sliding (if needed).

7. Freeze allotted seat (if satisfied)

2. Part Admission Fee Receipt (Rs.1800/-)

3. Provisional Admission Offer Letter

4. Verification Letter
STAGE-5

 1.Physical reporting confirmation at allocated DIET/Institute after 3rd round or after freezing

2.Verification of final admission

1. Ensure Rs.3600/- payment is complete (if not done earlier).

2. Submit all original documents.

3. Submit final fee as per prospectus.

4. Request Online Counseling by paying Rs.1000/- (non-refundable) online.

5. Submit online counseling participation letter

2. Final Provisional Admission Letter

3.Counseling Participation Letter
Additional (Post Stage-5)

1. Display notifications regarding 6th or further online counseling rounds depending on seat availability

2. Open portal for online seat withdrawal as per prospectus
