The admission procedure for Class VI at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Schools for the 2026–27 academic session is given below.
Class VI Admission Procedure
Schools & Intake
- Boys: STS School, RMPS AMU City School
- Girls: AMU Girls’ School, AMU City Girls High School
Eligibility
Candidates must have passed Class V from a recognized school.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 10 to 12 years as on 31 March 2026.
(Date of Birth between 01 April 2014 and 31 March 2016)
Selection Process
Admission is based on an Admission Test consisting of:
- Written Test: 85 Marks
- Interview: 15 Marks
Written Test Details
- Section I – Language Test (25 Marks): English, Urdu, Hindi
- Section II – Mathematics & Environmental Studies (60 Marks)
- Minimum 40% marks in Section I is mandatory to qualify for the interview
Interview
Candidates must score at least 40% marks in the interview for final selection.
