The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a prestigious national-level management entrance exam conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur. It serves as a gateway for admission to MBA, PGDM, and Executive MBA programs at XLRI, 10 XAMI member colleges, and over 250 other top B-schools across India. Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years of duration or equivalent in any discipline. Candidates pursuing graduation in their final semester can appear for the XAT exam.

Important Points:

  • The exam will be conducted online through computer-based exam exclusively in English.

  • Each multiple-choice question (MCQ) will feature five options, with one correct choice.

  • Marks awarded for every correct answer: +1 mark.

  • Negative marks awarded for every incorrect answer: - 0.25 marks.

  • Negative marks awarded for every unattempted question after 8 unattempted questions: - 0.10 marks.

  • Negative marking does not apply to General Knowledge questions.
