Admission Notification

• Examination Name : All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2026\

• Conducting Body: National Testing Agency (NTA)

• Admissions For: Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools, and Class VI/IX in approved New Sainik Schools

• Application Period: 10.10.2025 to 09.11.2025 (upto 5:00 pm)

• Mode: Online application via NTA website

Girls eligibility for New Sainik Schools is as per their admission policies; candidates must check the concerned school’s website for details.

Examination Pattern

• Exam is OMR-based, Multiple Choice Questions, with no negative marking.

Medium of Examination

• For Class VI: 13 languages (English, Hindi, Regional languages such as Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, etc.)

• For Class IX: English only

How to Apply

• Applications are accepted only online at NTA website: https://exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/

• Register with personal mobile/email, fill the form, upload required documents (photo, signature, certificates), pay the fee online.

• Only one application/form per candidate per level is accepted.

• Candidates must download and print confirmation after fee payment.

Reservation and Seats

• Seats are reserved as per central and school-wise rules for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, Defence, etc.

• School and class-wise vacancy details are available in the appendices of the information bulletin and respective school websites.

• Admission is based on written exam, rank, e-counselling, medical fitness, and document verification.
