Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks or

  • 4-year integrated B.Ed. course from NCTE recognised institution with subject studied for minimum 3 years.

  • B.Ed. or integrated B.Ed-M.Ed. required (no separate B.Ed. required if integrated course done).

  • Mandatory pass in CTET conducted by CBSE.

• Exam Pattern

  • Type : One Tier Computer Based Exam

  • Duration: 2 hours

  • Questions: 200 MCQs

  • Sections:

    • Section A: General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Hindi & English (100 marks)

    • Section B: Subject-specific and Teaching Methodology (100 marks)

  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer

  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:

    • UR/EWS: 40%

    • OBC: 35%

    • SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
