Eligibility
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board (some institutes accept Biology or a vocational subject in place of Chemistry), with the minimum marks set by the institute and a valid entrance score.

Admission is through JEE Main (NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institutes via JoSAA), JEE Advanced (IITs), BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE and other university tests, and state CETs such as MHT CET, KCET, KEAM, WBJEE, TS EAMCET and AP EAPCET. Registration & Recognition
Engineers do not need a licence for most roles in India. Check that the institute and programme have AICTE approval, and look at NBA accreditation of the branch.
